Institutional Service
The Institute provided rehabilitation services in the following areas:

6. Indoor Medical rehabilitation Services:
For providing indoor medical services, there are 45 beds in the wards. Out of them, 25 beds are earmarked for corrective and reconstructive surgical intervention, while others for conservative management & ADL training.

7. Diagnostic Services:
The facilities of pathological, radiological and electro diagnostic investigations were provided to patients both at indoor and outdoor.

8. Facilitation:
The information on facilities available for disabled, Schemes & programs of Govt / NGO s, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Orthopaedic surgery, Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, Prosthetic & Orthotics, Socio-Economic Rehabilitation related literature etc. were made available. The services of library were used by the students, faculty, staff as well as by outside professionals working in the field of disability rehabilitation. The information and guidance were also provided through postal services.

Outreach Services
To reach the un-reached persons with disability, composite rehabilitation camps are organized in collaboration with Govt. And NGOs.

Besides providing aids and appliances, these camps are also used for community awareness on disability identification, prevention and sensitization on schemes / programs for persons with disability. Out reach camps are also used for the training to students and to develop local manpower.
