Occupational Therapy

5. Paediatric unit

Paediatric Occupational therapy provides therapy for children of different ages with varying degrees of disability.

Services provided:

1.Assessment
2.Individualized planning
3.Neuro developmental Therapy
4.Use of Biomechanical Frame of Reference
5.Use of developmental frame of reference
6.Motor Control Theory
7.Use of compensatory methods. (Splints, adaptive and assistive Devices)
8.Prescription and measurement for seating devices
9.Prescription for orthotic devices and mobility aids
10.Assessment of children with Pervasive developmental disorders and SI Therapy
11.Care giver counseling and education
